The words I have been given are:
Zoo.
Camera.
I've already written down a few ideas such as having the executioner as a vetinarian who puts sick animals to sleep which causes fear in the animals who all end up thinking the vet is some angel of death type character.
Maybe every time the flash of the camera goes off the animals at the zoo are reminded of the flash from a gun? Making the zoo put up sighs that say 'no flash photography'.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, perhaps a gun from when they were captured? having poachers killing and capturing animals... animals with PTSD... interesting haha

ReplyDeleteI like the idea that you have so far. Maybe the whole story can be show by looking through CCTV camera or the veterinar can be fake and actually harming and poissening animals and police watching him through CCTV?
Also it seems to me that it might be difficult to express how animals see the veterinar as an angel of death so maybe think about that as well.
I like the idea of the police investigation! As for how the audience understand the animals fear i could do something like in Madagascar where the animals can speak English to each other but not to the humans... just as an idea
DeleteI'm a little late to the party, but I like your idea so far. I was thinking that maybe the Executioner is either someone that works at the zoo (perhaps just a simple job like night security) or someone who sneaks in periodically, who has psychotic tendencies and takes joy in snuffing out different animals. The idea of the zoo actually being a city could also work in this context as the executioner sees everyone around him as beneath him and primitive, comparing the outside world to a public zoo?
